Deep 2" Wet/Dry Glaze U-channel

Shallow and Deep Wet/Dry Glaze U-Channels provide the smallest profile U-Channel for glazing 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 12 mm) glass. They are available in six standard finishes customized lengths.
These U-Channels provide the most economical way to glaze heavy glass. Using the Deep U-Channel on the top and Shallow U-Channel on the bottom allows for the 'lift and drop' method of glazing. The glass can be secured with silicone sealant or our Top Load Roll-In Glazing Gasket.

What is U-channel and how are these used for Glass Entrance?
When your glass door is installed, you can, in most cases, use a U-channel.
The U-channel is a metal rail that is used to secure glass panels to the floor, ceiling, or wall.
U-channels reduce the total cost of your glass wall because the glass sits securely in the channel rather than instead of requiring the drilling and notching of clips. Running U-channels along the bottom and outer edge of your glass wall does add a "light frame" look to the final product.
While U-channels may be slightly more noticeable than clips, they do not take away from the overall look of your glass wall. With the right finish, they blend right in to the rest of your hardware and shower, all while adding additional support.

Our U-channels fit 1/2" or 3/8" thick glass.

The U-channels we sell are 1" tall. This height offers a stronger "bite" on the glass.
